In a container, pour the instant coffee and hot water, and mix until dissolved. Add the caster sugar and use an electric or manual hand mixer until creamy stiff peaks are formed.

Serve the milk in a cup with crushed ice and pour the mixture over it.

Serve immediately.

Tip: Test out different flavors by adding cocoa powder.

NOTE: Caste sugar is an extra-fine sugar, but it is not confectioner’s sugar which allows it to be whipped quickly to give a creamy texture. Dalgona is a Korean coffee drink made with instant coffee, sugar and water in equal proportions. Tasty!
