PANCAKES

Servings 4 – 6

INGREDIENTS:

2 cups of cake flour

1 ½ tsp. of baking powder

1 ½ tsp. of baking soda

¼ cup of sugar

¼ tsp. of salt

2 eggs lightly beaten

¼ cup of melted butter

1 ¼ cup of Tres Monjitas® Fresh Milk

Pancake or maple syrup

Fresh fruits

PROCEDURE

Prepare the pancake mix: In a medium container or bowl, mix the cake flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar and salt. While whisking, slowly pour in the eggs, melted butter and Tres Monjitas® Fresh Milk until creamy and there are no lumps left. Let it rest for 8-10 minutes.

To cook the pancakes, heat up a skillet, spray with butter. Pour ⅓ of the pancake mix and cook until golden on both sides. Repeat the process with each pancake.

Serve with syrup and fresh fruits.

Tip: Cake flour (does not contain baking powder nor baking soda) is a finer flour than all-purpose flour, ensuring a spongier and silky result. However, you can use all-purpose flour if you prefer.
